YEDITEPE UNIVERSITY
SYSTEMS ENGINEERING

  Systems Engineering is concerned with the design, production, and maintenance of reliable systems within cost and time constraints.

 Systems engineers apply an appropriate combination of theories and tools, carried out through the use of a
suitable methodology and a set of system management procedures, to address   real world problems that are often of large scale and scope.

 Systems engineering activities vary from requirements definition or specification to the conceptual and functional development of systems.

LABORATORIES

Laboratories belonging to the Systems Engineering Department are being arranged according to the applications done in optimization, simulation, planning, industrial control, and automation.

In our department we have 4 education and research laboratories;

1) Control and Automation Laboratory

2) Advanced Control Laboratory

3) Simulation and Statistics Laboratory

4) Computer Integrated Manufacturing Laboratory (CIM)

We continue updating our laboratories with the improving technology and adding new equipments according to the students needs. The specifications of the computers being used are; Pentium IV 2.0 GHz processor and 256 MB DDR RAM + 40GB HDD + DVD-ROM + CD-RW. Besides the stated applications, it is possible for the students to work on their projects, homework, and lessons with the full equipment and software.

The equipments and the aim of usages can be summarized as follows:
